Who are our Homestay Hosts?

	Our hosts are as diverse as our guests. They are:
	Unmarried male and female,
	Single parents with children,
	Couples without children,
	Couples with children some of whom are adults and live away from home
	Retired people,
	And people of different cultural backgrounds. "Upon finding a match, certain information about your Homestay host will be available to you."

What is included from your Homestay host?

	Provides a private room with a bed, a place to store your clothes,
	A shared or private bathroom,
	Access to in-home laundry facilities,
	Breakfast and dinner,
	Orientation to a public transportation,
	An opportunity to practice English,
	A clean, safe and caring environment,
	A family who will care about your well being, health and safety,
	And, an opportunity to share the Homestay with one other international student

Apartment Service

Prearrangements for studios or apartments in Seattle with one separate bedroom are also available. Apartments require a damage deposit, first months and sometimes last months rent. Pacific Northwest Homestay requires that $1250.00 be paid in advance to cover these expenses. the remaining balance will be collected upon arrival or refunded according to expenses incurred.

Pacific Northwest Homestay fee of $225.00 is included in the initial deposit.

Airport Service

Whether you are staying in the Seattle area or just passing through, a representative from Pacific Northwest Homestay will greet you at the arrival gate. If you are going on to a further destination, we will help you with your flight connections and see you on your connecting airplane.

If you have made your own lodging arrangements, we will provide Airport Transportation for a fee of $75.00 payable in advance. This service includes meeting you upon arrival at the airport and delivering you to a prearranged destination within the Seattle, Tacoma, Spokane, and Washington area. Transportation to the airport is also available for $75.00. We can also help you with ticket purchases, confirmation and return transportation.

There is an additional service fee of $100.00 for airport service on Saturday, Sunday, or outside of office hours (8:30am - 4:30pm). There is no airport service after 8:00 pm.

Register for the Community Colleges or Universities

Selecting your college or university is a personal and very important decision. Pacific Northwest Homestay will be happy to assist you in any way we can. Brochures from various colleges in the area are available from our office. We will send you catalogs from schools of particular interests to you.

Through this special service, Pacific Northwest Homestay can assist students in selecting colleges and Universities and submitting applications. A fee of $250.00 is payable upon request for brochures and applications. We will send you brochures and applications forms from the schools you are interested in attending. When your choice is made and the application is returned to Pacific Northwest Homestay we will submit your registration.
